Neurosurgeon, Dr. Peter Angevine, Discusses C2 Radiculopathy in SPINE CENTER Video Series Launch

Mar. 4, 2013

Here at the Department of Neurological Surgery, we often discuss ways in which we can support our patients and community, so today we are launching a ‘brainchild’ of Peter D. Angevine, M.D., M.P.H.: Columbia Neurosurgery’s “Spine Center Video Minute” series, with his thorough and concise overview of C2 radiculopathy.

Cervical radiculopathy is a dysfunction of the nerve root of the cervical spine.  Nerve root compression can be painful and, in the case of C2 radiculopathy, the patient may get headaches.  This problem can be treated non-operatively or with decompression and fusion, depending on the circumstance.
